Professional Legislative Representation

A sustained and effective presence in Trenton and Washington, D.C. is critical to advancing the child care industry. NJCCA represents its member centers in Trenton and Washington D.C., closely monitoring licensing, policy and legislative issues that impact the child care industry, and takes appropriate action.

We educate and inform key decision makers on issues such as unregulated child care, Universal preschool, business management, The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and inclusive child care initiatives, help shape business-friendly policy, and provide feedback and strategic advocacy advice to members.

The Association’s advocacy efforts also include informing and educating the general public about important issues related to the provision of child care in New Jersey.

Members are welcome to participate in NJCCA’s Legislative Affairs Committee (LAC).
